Suffolk Community College Foundation Honors Program Scholarship
Awarded to: New First Time, Full-Time Students, College-Wide
To Be Considered:
- Application and acceptance into the Honors Program
- High school average 85 or above
- 1180 SAT score (or ACT composite of 24) and/or rigor of course work
- Strength of essay
Award Amount Per Student: $1,500 per semester for a maximum of four semesters
Number of Scholarships to be Awarded: Varies
Deadline: June 30
Semester Distributed: Fall
Renewal: Scholarships are renewable for four semesters provided the student remains enrolled in the Honors Program, takes at least two honors courses per semester, and maintains a 3.3 grade point average each semester.
Students must first apply and be accepted to the Honors Program to be considered. Please see the College Catalog for requirements and application process.
J. Robert Fisher Honors Program Scholarship
Awarded to: Continuing Full-Time students, College-Wide
To Be Considered:
- Application and acceptance into the Honors Program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3
- Participation in Honors culture and events
Award Amount Per Student: $500 per semester for a maximum of four semesters
Number of Scholarships to be Awarded: Varies
Deadline: June 30
Semester Distributed: Fall and Spring
Renewal: Scholarships are renewable for four semesters provided the student remains enrolled in the Honors Program, takes at least two honors courses per semester, and maintains a 3.3 grade point average each semester.
